The Danish American Heritage Society (DAHS) is a historical organization. "The history of the Danish immigrant complements the history of all immigrants and thereby enriches the lives of all of us; viewing our Danish heritage as Americans cannot but broaden our field of vision."  Arnold N. Bodtker

The word heritage is used to signify broader activities such as sponsoring conferences and cooperating with other organizations on joint projects. The Danish American Heritage Society believes that there is an intrinsic value in identifying, understanding, and preserving our ethnic heritage. We devote our energies to achieving that goal.

Below are links to The Danish American Heritage Society's three sister organizations which have, as their primary function, the preservation of the history and culture of the Danish-American experience.
